Finally made it back to Cars & Coffee Virginia Beach! They've instituted some changes including a cover charge due to some shenanigans by other attendees, but that didn't keep the crowds away in the slightest. Beautiful weather and great cars! Favorite shots below with the rest on my Facebook page!

June 2016 Night Moves /
Less than a week after Springfest was the June Night Moves by Sumospeed. You might think people wouldn't be interested in another car show - but of course you'd be wrong. Picture perfect weather, a great staff of people, good vendors, and a great venue. That's why so many people show up for Night Moves. They said it would rain - it didn't! The weather held out, the crowds showed up by the thousands and it was the biggest and best Springfest yet! Amazing work by the entire Sumospeed team, beautiful venue, and of course awesome cars, trucks and bikes. Some of my favorite shots are below with the rest on my Facebook page!

Putting on a show with hundreds of cars and thousands of spectators takes a huge amount of work and coordination. The Sumospeed team made it look easy at roll in the day prior. Here are some of my favorite shots, the full album posted on my Facebook page.

I was hired by the awesome guys at Sumospeed to create a series of images leading up to their premiere event of the season, Springfest. I built products for sponsors, countdowns, and informational graphics - all shared across their various social media platforms.
May 2016 Night Moves /
After missing the April Sumospeed Night Moves event, I was happy to be back! You couldn't have asked for better weather. Tons of great vendors. And of course an absolutely enormous showing. Here are a few favorites with the rest on my Facebook page!
Chevrolet Camaro SS MRR Wheels Shoot - Part Deux! /
So as luck would have it, another local Chevrolet Camaro SS owner is rolling on MRR wheels and needed a shoot. Despite doing the shoot at the same location (I really need some new spots!), the weather couldn't be more different. Overcast and drizzly. Luckily, being in a parking garage the rain didn't harm us and the light was nice and diffuse. Here are some of my favorite shots.
Sumospeed Elite 75 /
And now for something completely different... ok not really. Still a car show, but this time indoors! But wait - there's more! Rather than allow anything on four wheels to show up, the team at Sumospeed took a more selective approach. People throughout the Hampton Roads area and beyond submitted their cars with a list of mods for one of only 75 available spots. Plus there was a DJ, live music, food, cash bar (!), RC cars and more! The result was a fantastic show with some of the nicest machines in VA/NC. Here are a few favorite shots with the full set on my Facebook page!
April 2016 Cars & Coffee Virginia Beach /
I was supposed to have missed this event as I was in Atlanta for the first Saturday of April, but due to rain it was pushed a week. So lucky me! Really good turnout with some new cars making an introduction, but the highlight was easily the 1960s Adam West era Batmobile. It even shot flames out the back! March 2016 Night Moves /
I have almost no words for what happened at this event. It was essentially the perfect storm. When Winterfest cancelled due to issues with the venue, people were desperate for a big show to kick off the 2016 season. Add in some unseasonably warm weather and the attendance of a YouTube star and ultimately Sumospeed had to stop letting folks in. We haven't 'sprung ahead' yet so the start time was past sunset - meaning it took much longer to get these night shots than if I had some daylight to work with, but here are a few I liked.
