First time visiting the City of Sin and it was quite a trip! First off, visiting in July was a terrible idea. Average temps exceeded 110° and the old saying that "it's a dry heat" just doesn't apply when the temps are that high. But the casinos and hotels provided delicious air conditioning so we simply hopped from one to another. Even made time for a side trip to the Hoover Dam. All-in-all it was an awesome trip!

After a day in NYC we headed up to West Point, NY to visit the United States Military Academy, my alma mater. There we watched the morning parade, parachute demonstration, and then caught the Army - Rutgers football game which the Black Knights unfortunately lost. But it was an otherwise spectacular November day!

Rental Car Challenge: Kia Soul /
While on business in San Diego I decided to do a quick ten minute photo shoot of my rental car, a Kia Soul. As far as rental cars go, it's actually pretty good! Forgive the dirt, I had no desire to wash the car first.

Took our dream vacation to Croatia in April and thought I'd share a few of my favorite shots. It was, in a word, spectacular. Incredibly beautiful coast, rugged mountains, crystal clear water, amazing food and drink, lovely people - it was a perfect vacation.
